DELIVERED
WITH PASSION

Residential, commercial or a combination of both, our projects are diverse and always tailored to the goals of our clients. And we love a new challenge.

Architecturally interesting and materially diverse, we delivered our clients with a house that was exactly what they asked for - precisely as we promised. Working one-on-one with them, we were able to really understand their preferences, source the perfect materials, and create a space that is both sleek and contemporary yet homely and inviting.

Positioned on the Albert Park end of South Melbourne, access to the site added an extra layer of complexity to the build. While handling these logistical challenges, we also worked hard to develop a rapport with our client’s neighbours whose mutual respect and understanding made building within the tight space, easier.

This boutique development of four, three-storey luxury townhouses were designed by a prominent Melbourne architect, developed and constructed by Keyway. Timber played a leading role in this project both structurally and throughout the interiors. Timber staircases, floorboards, and feature wall panelling added a sense of warmth to the monochromatic scheme of matt black and muted greys.

Architecturally designed to maximise the space within the corner block resulted in generously proportioned townhouses for residents but also presented challenges for our team. In response, we adopted a forward-thinking approach to construction so as not to interfere with power lines and the property boundary.

ATTENTION TO DETAIL. EVERY TIME.

A design and construction project that presented its challenges but resulted in great triumph, as we navigated a main, tram-lined road in the heart of Footscray.

The team at Keyway were hands-on in every aspect of this project, from the architectural features to the electrical, mechanical and hydraulic design, to service authority liaison. We brought it all together to produce a quality build with a contemporary design that starts at the unique facade and flows through to 19 boutique apartments beyond.

From the outside, this multi-million-dollar commercial complex appears purely utilitarian, but in reality, this eco-building offers tenants much more. In addition to the 640-space multi-level car park, the complex features a four-storey office space that includes an expo showroom and 38 offices orientated around a central atrium, teaming with natural light and forming part of a fully automated ventilation system.

The enviro-focussed design spans the entire building, from the recycled products and materials used during construction to the energy-conserving features and systems including solar treated glazing, window shading, rainwater recycling and roof-mounted fans. This building really earned its Green Star rating.
